Innovations in Bio-Nanocomposite Coatings

Recent scientific breakthroughs utilize nano-cellulose fibers derived from agricultural residues like wheat straw and jute to enhance oxygen barrier properties in biodegradable films. These bio-composite layers achieve shelf-life performance comparable to conventional metallized PET films while maintaining full industrial compostability.
